commemorative ceremony was held yesterday at Dosan Barracks at Malines where some 25, 000 Belgian Jews were held before being shipped to Nazi extermination camps.
Jewish survivors of the Nazi occupation of Belgium, representatives cf the King, government and of the Catholic Primate attended the commemorative services .At the meeting, sponsored by the Antwerp section of B’nai B’rith and the Union of Jewish Deportees of Belgium, it was announced that a monument to the victims would be erected at Malines.
