The appointment of Rabbi Joseph P. Sternstein of Dayton, Ohio, as national chairman of the newly formed ZOA Commission to study the fundamental problems confronting American Zionism was announced today by Mortimer May, president of the Zionist Organization of America.

The formation of this new commission is an outgrowth of the widely discussed plans for the formulation of specific Zionist tasks and responsibilities in this post-State era and the need for a planned and systematic effort to recruit increasing numbers of young people from throughout the country for leadership of the movement.
