“We should not trust those rabbis who denounce their past even if they do publish open letters in our press,” declares the “Oktiabr,” referring to the action of Rabbi Moishe Gelman, for 24 years a rabbi, who last week announced that he no longer believed in God and had nothing more to do with Rabbinism or religion.
The “Oktiabr” distrusts Rabbi Gelman’s statement. “Gelman and also the rabbis who convert themselves do it only to fool us so that we will discontinue our fight on the Jewish religion. We shall unmask their new tactics.”
