Three Communists, Itzkovsky, Zandbank and Gutman, were sentenced to two months imprisonment each and a fine of £10, with deportation to follow their release. Ben Jacob, Schwartzman and Ahmed Achdi were sentenced to fifty days imprisonment or a fine of £10. They were found guilty of belonging to an illegal organization, in their trial which concluded yesterday.
