Leaders of the Confederation of the General Zionists who participate in the plenary session of the World Jewish Congress taking place here today held a conference addressed by Dr. Israel Goldstein and Mrs. Rose Halprin, co-chairmen of the Confederation, Mrs. Charlotte Jacobson, Hadassah president, and Sir Barnett Janner, president of the Zionist Federation of Great Britain.
Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, told the gathering that he hopes that in the near future Zionist leaders will realize that the various Zionist groups must be replaced by one consolidated Zionist Party. More than 80 delegates from various countries have attended the gathering.
