Dr. Lise Meitner, Jewish refugee and atomic scientist was yesterday awarded a citation for her contributions to inter-faith understanding by the National Conference of Christians and Jews. The award was presented by Dr. Arthur H. Compton, chancellor of Washington University at St. Louis.
