A conference of council section and state and interstate conference presidents, of the National Council of Jewish Women, will be held in Chicago on October 13th and 14th. This meeting will represent a new departure on the part of this organization. At its sessions, various recommendations to be submitted to the Detroit convention on April 3rd, will be discussed.
The program for this conference will be arranged by the following committee of the National Council of Jewish Women: Mrs. Francis D. Pollack of New York City, chairman; Mrs. Sydney M. Cone of Pikesville, Md.; Mrs. Jules Hart of Yonkers, N. Y.; Mrs. Abraham H. Arons of Brooklyn, N. Y.; Mrs. Maurice L. Goldman of New York City; Mrs. M. C. Sloss of San Francisco; Mrs. Alexander Wolf of Washington, D. C.; and Mrs. Estelle M. Sternberger of New York City.
