Prof. Selig Brodetsky and Samuel S. Silverman, Labor member of Parliament, have left for Bergen-Belsen to participate in the first conference of displaced Jews which is opening there today. Prof. Brodetsky will attend in behalf of the Jewish Agency, while Mr. Silverman will represent the World Jewish Congress.
The World Jewish Congress today announced that the Twenty-First Army Group command has approved the shipment to Bergen-Belsen of 20,000 pounds of clothing and shoes collected by the organization. The transport will be sent through UNRRA.
