Encouraging responses to the call issued by the American Jewish Committee, the Hias, the American Jewish Congress, the Council of Jewish Women and representatives of Jewish labor organizations for a conference of national organizations to determine the problem of the Jewish refugees in the various ports and countries, have come from all elements and groups of American Jewry.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Astor, Sunday, June 22nd, and it is hoped that through the united efforts of American Jews, thousands of Jewish refugees now stranded in European ports, in Cuba, Mexico and in the Near and Far East will be saved.
