A protest against the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee for alleged discrimination against the Hebrew schools of the Tarbuth type in Poland was adopted at a conference of Tarbuth high school representatives which has just been concluded here. The charge was made that the Hebrew schools do not receive a proportionate amount in the funds of the Cultural Committee, compared with the allotments made for other types of Jewish schools in Poland.
The conference decided to convene a world conference of representatives of the Hebrew gymnasia in Palestine and other countries.
