The conference of the center groups within the Zionist movement, consisting of the so-called general Zionists, without definite affiliation with the right or left groups, will open here on July 19.
The conference, which was called on the initiative of the American Zionists, has for its purpose the consideration of ways and means of strengthening the center groups within the movement and to provide these groups with the possibility of forming a stronger Zionist Executive, which would derive its strength and support from the center groups.
The conference will also consider the budget for 1926-1927 and adopt resolutions with regard to strengthening of the present Zionist Executive at the meeting of the Zionist Actions Committee which will open in London on July 22. Representatives of the American Zionists are expected to attend the conference.
