The creation of a new League of Nations to embrace only Moslem countries is the main point on the agenda of the All-Islamic Conference, which is to, be held shortly in Mecca.
The Conference was called by Ibn Saud, Sultan of Nejd and conqueror of Mecca. The non-recognition of Ali as King of Hedjas and the forming of the new government in Mecca under the leadership of a Hedjas notable will also be discussed.
Scheduled to become members of the new League are twenty-five Moslem countries, including the following sixteen states of Arabia: Kingdom of Iraq, Syria, Hedjas, Emirate of Nejd and Hasa, Inamite of Yemen, Aden, Sultanate of Oman, Sultanate of Koweit, Emirate of Kerek, Emirate of Bab-el-Mandab, Emirate of Lahj, State of Hadramaut, Emirate of El-Mahammerah and Emirate of Bahrein.
A new feature which may lead to centralizing the influence of the Moslem Holy Places through the establishment of Mecca Missions in all the Moslem countries will also be discussed by the Conference.
