A conference to settle Italian-Israeli cross claims arising from World War II started here today. The conference is expected to last two weeks.
The parley will consider claims for property of German and East European Jews confiscated by the Nazis in Trieste and Genoa, as well as claims for Italian property seized in Israel by the Palestine Mandate Government. The four man Israeli delegation is headed by Eliahu Sasson, Israel Minister to Rome.
