Congress House, a clubhouse for exiles from Nazi Germany, will be formally dedicated this evening with a special program.
In the presence of a distinguished group of men and women and a number of refugees from Germany, the clubhouse will be formally opened for use as a recreational center and as a temporary shelter for newcomers from Germany. The principal speaker will be Professor Robert Morss Lovett, outstanding liberal leader and outspoken foe of the Nazi regime.
A tea and reception in honor of Mrs. Fiorello H. LaGuardia, Mrs. Stephen S. Wise and Mrs. Bernard S. Deutsch will be given tomorrow afternoon at Congress House by the Manhattan chapter of the women’s division of the American Jewish Congress.
