Congress Leaders Call on British Legation at Berne

A delegation representing the World Jewish Congress today turned over to the British Legation here a declaration by its executive asking the British Cabinet not to halt immigration into Palestine.

The delegation was received by Charge d’Affaires Shone, who promised that the declaration would be turned over to the British Government.

Among the members of the delegation were Dr. Stephen S. Wise, Louis Lipsky, the Rev.M.L.Perlzweig, Berl Locker, A. Reiss, Senator Isaac Rubinstein of Poland, Dr. Meyer Ebner of Rumania and Dr. Nahum Goldmann.
