A Membership Campaign for the Women’s Association of the American Jewish Congress will be launched today, Mrs. Stephen S. Wise, president, announced.
During the campaign period, speakers will be sent to the various Jewish women’s organizations to acquaint them with the aims and work of the American Jewish Congress.
A meeting of the College Division of the Women’s Association of the American Jewish Congress will be held this afternoon at 3:00 P.M. at the Jewish Institute of Religion.
The details of the Pageant Dedicated to the Women in Israel Throughout the Ages, to be given under the auspices of the College Division, March 26, will be discussed. Professor Carl G. B. Knauff who is producing the Pageant, will outline the text of the five episodes and show a complete section of the Pageant. Professor Abraham Binder, who is preparing special music for the Pageant, will indicate the nature of the musical program.
Governor Moore has appointed Dr. Max Lentz, of Passaic, a member of the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry.
