A nation-wide campaign to raise $65,000,000 in the next decade to support the programs of the three organs of the Conservative movement, the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, United Synagogue and Rabbinical Assembly of America, was opened here yesterday at the conclusion of the ninth annual meeting of the National Planning Committee of the Seminary.

The sum includes $32,600,000 for the expansion of the Seminary into a “Center of Human Brotherhood” in New York, with branches in Los Angeles and Jerusalem, and $32,400,000 for support of the programs of the Conservative movement over the ten year period. Joseph N. Gorson of Philadelphia was named chairman of the fund effort.
