An inquiry into the part alleged by the state attorney to have been played by the Orient lodge of the Independent Order B’nai Brith in the anti-Turkish demonstration alleged to have been staged at the funeral of the Jewish girl. Elsa Niego, was ordered by the Constantinople police.
A special commission was appointed to investigate the books of the Orient lodge and to ascertain whether the funeral demonstration received support from the Order.
