Defiance of the principle of equality guaranteed by the Polish constitution to all citizens of the Republic, found expression today in what is termed “2 verdict of a citizens court” in the Galician resort, Zakopene.

A group of Poles, constituted a citizens court, and issued a verdict of condemnation on six Polish landowners, because they sold their property to Jews.

The “verdict” of the court reads in part: “To submit to public opinion and to condemn this unpatriotic, disgraceful and treacherous action.”
