A resolution urging the United States Government to restore immediately grants-in-aid for Israel was approved tonight at the opening session of the 59th annual national convention of the Rabbinical Assembly of America. The convention of the Conservative rabbis will end Thursday.
The 500 rabbis acted after hearing a proposal to that effect from Rabbi Isaac Klein of Buffalo, N. Y. , president, who in his presidential message discussed at length the relations between the United States and Israel.
