Golda Meyerson, Israel’s Minister of Labor, was one of the three women cited last night by the Federation of Jewish Women’s. Organizations at its 32nd annual convention at the Hotel Astor. The citation was accepted by Arie Ben Tovim, Israeli Consul General in New York.
The other women cited as “women of achievement” were Miss Marian Anderson, singer, and Miss Dorothy Gordon, moderator of youth forums of the New York Times. The Federation represents 441 Jewish women’s groups with a membership of 200,000 in New York. More than 1,000 delegates are attending the convention.
