A resident of Cuxhaven, arrested for having argued publicly that “not enough Jews were made into soap,” was sentenced to four months’ imprisonment after he defiantly told the court that “I was a Nazi and I will always be a Nazi.”

In Hannover, the circuit court found a 23-year-old German guilty of public statements that “not enough Jews were gassed.” His four-month sentence was suspended after he publicly expressed regret for the utterance, but was ordered to make a contribution of 1, 000 marks (about $250) to the German Red Cross.
