A resolution urging the establishment of one international Jewish organization to defend Jewish rights outside of Israel and to support Israel–was unanimously approved at the closing session here of the convention of the Federation of Argentine Jewish Communities last night.
The delegates also approved an appeal for maximum cooperation between Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jewries in Argentina and pledged full support for the youth pioneering movement for Israel. The Federation also widened its executive council and re-named Emilion Gutkin as president and Gregorio Z. Fainguersch as general secretary.
