The present cooperation between the Jews of the Soviet Union and the Jewish communities in the rest of the world will continue after the war, it was stated here today by Lt.-Col. Itzik Feffer, one of the two Russian Jewish delegates, addressing a meeting called by the Federation of Jewish Relief Organizations.
The meeting launched a campaign to collect clothing for refugees and evacuees in Russia. The clothing will be sent to areas in which Jewish evacuees are concentrated, but it was emphasized by Prof. Solomon Mikhoels, the other Russian-Jewish delegate, that no distinction would be made between persons of any race or creed in distributing the wearing apparel.
