Minister of Religion Moshe Shapiro today laid the cornerstone for a building to house the offices of the Chief Rabbinate, the rabbinical court and a seminary. The three-story building, which will cost about 500,000 pounds, will serve as a rabbinical center for the entire Jewish world. It will be financed partly by the Israel Government and partly by contributions from Jews throughout the world.
