Correspondent of American Yiddish Newspaper Expelled from Libya

Dr. Chaim Shoshkes, a correspondent for the Jewish Day Journal here, has been expelled from Liba following his arrest by Libyan police while he was visiting a Talmud Torah in Tripol. according to a cabled report sent by him from Tunis and published the paper today.

Dr. Shoshkes said in the report that he was arrested along with H. Rokach, head of the Jewish community in Tripoli. He said he was questioned for 14 hours mainly about his relations with Israel.
