Strong support for the recommendations of Secretary of State John Foster Dallas based on his recent trip through the Middle East was expressed in a letter sent him recently and released today by Leasing J. Rosenwald, president of the American Council for Judaism.
The letter voiced particular approval of Dulles’ third conclusion, which speaks of the need to treat the Middle East as a whole and for the United States to seek “to allay the deep resentment against it that has resulted from the creation of Israel.”
