Excitement in the countryside has been stimulated by the Arab Executive over the imprisonment of Sheik Mouzza-Far, the black-listed leader of the boycott agitation. The campaign of resentment against his imprisonment has extended to Egypt, where the “Moukattam” scores the Palestine government for its alleged inconsideration for Mouzza-Far’s ill-health. The Mufti of Safed and Nashishibi, mayor of Jerusalem are reported to have interviewed High Commissioner Chancellor concerning Mouzza-Far and other Arab Nationalist prisoners.
