The formation of the projected All-German Federation of Jewish Communities will be carried a step further at a meeting of representatives of the various Federations of Jewish Communities which are to link up for the purpose of constituting the new Federation, which will be held on Sunday, July 3rd., probably at Baden-Baden.
It had been intended to hold a Conference of representatives of the Federations on Sunday, June 26th. at Baden-Baden. It was felt, however, that it would be preferable to have a small consultation first, and there will be present only six people, three representatives of the Prussian Federation and one representative each of the Federations of Jewish Communities in avaria, Baden and Wuertemburg.
After the question of the 11-German Federation was discussed at yesterday’s meeting of the Federation of Jewish Communities in Prussia, the J.T.A. is informed, telegrams have been exchanged yesterday and to-day with the South-German Federations of Jewish Communities, which have resulted in an agreement being reached on the subject of the consultative meeting on July 3rd. This meeting will draw up a resolution which will be submitted to the larger Conference, which will be called shortly in order to decide finally on the formation of the All-German Federation of Jewish Communities.
