Reports reaching the offices of the California Students for Soviet Jews have confirmed the fact that Jewish emigration from the Soviet Union to Israel has virtually stopped after the first week in July. The halt to emigration was also met with threats and acts of physical violence against Jews living in various parts of the Soviet Union.
