The Federation of Cuban University Students today announced its support for the immediate recognition by the Cuban Government f the Provisional Government of Israel.
At the same time, however, the National Group of Pro-Palestine Arabs urged the government to withhold recognition on the grounds that the Jews were “taking a country which for 14 centuries has belonged to the Arabs.”
