Measures to curb the anti-Semitic activities of the recently formed “League of Ex-Servicemen and Women” were demanded in Commons today.
Citing speeches made at a meeting of the group in Hyde Park on Sunday, D. N. Pritt, Labor, asked Home Secretary Herbert Morrison what action the authorities planned to take. Replying. Morrison said that the activities of the league were being watched. He admitted that one of the Hyde Park speakers was a member of the outlawed British Union of Fascists.
