Cuzists Attack Yiddish Theatre in Czernowitz

Twenty Cuzists, members of the Roumanian anti-Semitic party, armed with axes and iron rods penetrated the Yiddish theatre the Pavilion, demolishing furniture and smashing windows.

The wife of the theatre director, Sally Reisch, and a journalist, Herman Felker, were injured by the attackers. Five Cuzists were arrested.
