Professor Cuza’s supporters held a meeting this morning to decide on their candidates for the forthcoming Parliamentary elections. It was decided that Professor Cuza will stand in Roman, which he won at the bye-election last summer, in Jassy, where he lives, and in a town not yet decided on in the province of Bukovina. Professor Cuza’s son, Georg Cuza, will stand as candidate in Storojinotz and Odorhei.
A reconciliation seems to have been effected between Professor Cuza and Codreanu’s Iron Guard, as a result of which the two groups will not run candidates against each other.
