New evidence that Nicholas II approved of the anti-Jewish pogroms committed during his reign was published today by the “Isvestia”, the official organ of the Soviet government.
The newspaper publishes a series of newly found letters of Nicholas II to his mother. In one of the letters dated 1905, the Czar expresses his great satisfaction with and justification of the wave of anti-Jewish pogroms that look piace in Russia in that year.
