Czech police have accused three Czech soldiers of being neo-Nazis.
A police investigation found that two members of the Czech army’s rapid-response unit and an artilleryman participated in several international neo-Nazi demonstrations. It found also that two are members of an extreme rightist group, according to the Czech daily Mlada fronta Dnes. The soldiers have not been charged.
Some experts on extremism have expressed concern that more extremists may have infiltrated the military.
Czech Defense Minister Vlasta Parkanova has promised to investigate the case of the three accused soldiers.
