The Czechoslovakian postal administration, it was learned today, has lodged a complaint with the International Postal Union at Berne against the opening of mail in transit through Germany.
After repeated complaints that mail in transit through the Reich was being opened and its contents read, contrary to international agreement, the Czech postal authorities filed their protest with the postal union, submitting evidence that seventy per cent of the mail in transit through Germany is being opened and read. This situation was not altered despite repeated remonstrances.
