Dansig has been chosen as the city where the proposed Jewish University in Europe will be built. A site for the buildings has already been bought, and detailed plans for the construction of the university as well as dormitories for the professors and students have been prepared by the Jewish architect, Stiefelman. It appears that many influential Jewish circles of Poland are interested in the project, and the Warsaw financier, Doktorowitz, has left today for Geneva for the purpose of taking definite steps towards the establishment of the university. It is reported that Mr. Salandra, the Italian representative in the League of Nations has expressed himself in favor of the plan.
