Twenty Jewish tradesmen were seriously wounded today, when a band of Nazi youths attacked the Jewish shops in the Rumelplatz market, forcing the Jewish tradesmen to leave the market.
Throughout the bloody attack the police refrained from intervening, and later when a few Nazis were arrested for participation in the riot, they were released by the authorities “because they did not commit any crime.”
