BOTH JURISTS ARE WORLD WAR VETERANS AND THEREFORE COULD NOT HAVE BEEN DISMISSED. PRESSURE WAS ALSO APPLIED FOR THE RESIGNATION OF THE SOLITARY JEWISH MUNICIPAL EMPLOYE.
