The present session of the Danzig Nazi-controlled Senate is being watched with greatest anxiety by the Jews, who fear extension of the Nuremberg laws, although the Polish press forecasts that, as a result of pressure from Geneva, the laws will not be proclaimed for the time being. The crucial day is expected to be Sunday, when Reichs Minister of Propaganda Paul Joseph Goebbels delivers a speech at Town Hall, climaxing a “Week of German Culture.”
