Two daring diamond robberies, which netted more than $100,000 in gems and some cash, were carried out today by two groups described by police as terrorists.
The first robbery took place at the Sharir diamond factory here, where three armed men escaped with $28,000 worth of diamonds and $3,200 in cash. Later a plant at Nathanya was held up and $80,000 in gems taken.
