David Dainow, veteran Jewish journalist who, for 20 years, served as editor of the Zionist Record here, died here after a long illness. He was 75.
Born in England, Mr. Dainow came to South Africa after World War I to engage in Jewish social work, and later became the editor of the Zionist Record. He retired from that post and took up residence in Jerusalem, where he became an Israeli citizen. Several months ago, he came here for a visit and was stricken with illness that proved fatal.
