France and Saudi Arabia are close to concluding a broad economic accord which will supply France with an estimated 800 million tons of oil over the next 15 years, French officials report. A French delegation will go to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in the next few days to continue the negotiations. Under the terms of the accord. Saudi Arabia would agree to supply France with the petrol in exchange for French industrial investments and technological aid in the form of joint ventures. The agreement was first discussed almost a year ago during the oil crisis.
