David Sarnoff, until now executive vice-president of the Radio Corporation of America, has just been elected president of the company.
Mr. Sarnoff is only 39 years old. He was born in Uzlian, province of Minsk, Russia, and was brought to this country at the age of 9. He began his career as a messenger boy at the age of 15 and was later a wireless operator on ships. He was decorated by the Polish government in 1924 and is a director of the American Polish Chamber of Commerce.
