Schweitzer, European vice-chairman and financial adviser of the Joint Distribution Committee, as he celebrated his fiftieth birthday today by working at his desk as usual. The staff presented him with flowers and a testimonial to his approximately 20 years in the service of the American Jewish relief and rehabilitation organization.
