December has been designated “Israel Month” throughout France with a number of Israeli events scheduled in major French cities, it was announced here today. Among the planned activities are a lecture by Israeli Education Minister Abba Eban at the University of Paris, concerts here and in various provincial centers by Israeli musical groups, and a Jewish Book Week in Paris, Lyons and Marseilles where hundreds of Jewish and Israeli books will be on view.
