The extension of the Jewish Agency under the present plan will have a far reaching influence on the progress of the rebuilding of Palestine, declares Senator Justin Godart, writing in the “Palestine Review,” French Zionist publication.

Declaring he is certain Zionism will succeed. Senator Godart states that what Zionism lacked hither to was a world wide Jewish base, which will be altogether different from the early beginnings of the Zionist movement when the first Christian Zionists joined the movement’s ranks. “The authority of that great Jewish council, the Jewish Agency, will counter balance the extreme Arab influence in the country, making Jewish-Arab peace and co-operation possible,” he declares.
