The British government, when negotiating international trade agreements, always considers the interests of Palestine, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, the Colonial Secretary, stated today in the House of Commons.
Sir Philip announced that the British government is now considering the possibility of promoting closer trade relations between Palestine and Egypt. Steps in this direction have been taken by the government in connection with the present visit of the Egyptian Trade Commission to London.

This is especially true with regard to the agreements concluded between Great Britain and the governments of Poland, Lithuania and Esthonia.
