Declaring their support for a united movement to prevent growth of governmental dictatorship, that would result in a threat to the peace and stability of the world, 700 men and women met here at the Central High School auditorium and passed resolutions aiming against governmental dictatorship.
Organized by trade union leaders, the meeting represented a fight against Fascism in its various forms. A resolution directed at the Hitler regime was passed by the meeting.
